Enterprise Experience Programme 2015: hands-on experience of life in small or medium-sized companies in Western Macedonia, northwest Greece
The "Enterprise Experience Programme" is an EU initiative, which enables EU executives to visit EU SMEs for a certain period of time - for a maximum of one week - and become acquainted with companies' daily operations. Target of the initiative for the EU initiatives is to learn about the problems the EU SMEs face, as well as the opportunities they have both in Europe and in the international markets.

One trillion euro to invest in Europe's future – the EU's budget framework 2014-2020
The European Parliament voted in favour of the EU's Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for the years 2014 to 2020. Two and a half years of intense negotiations, since the Commission had tabled its proposals on 29 June 2011, have come to an end.

EU and USA agree to foster transatlantic SME cooperation
Small and medium sized companies (SMEs) from both sides of the Atlantic should better profit from increased trade between the US and the EU. In the framework of the Transatlantic Economic Council stakeholders and government representatives agreed in Rome on 12 July 2012 to facilitate SMEs presence in both continents.
